At Sapphire Canine we treat every dog as we do our own; they’re not just pets, they’re family! Just as each member is unique, so is our care. By providing a clean, happy, and secure environment, dogs return to their homes relaxed and better behaved. Our mission is to be a positive influence in the life of each dog and to the people who love them. We count it a privilege to partner with you in the well-being of your canine companion.
We are not your average kennel. We provide top-notch care at an affordable price. If you are planning a vacation, an overnight stay, or a day of shopping or work, you can rest assured your pet will be well cared for and loved during their stay with us.
We offer a 1000 sf indoor facility that provides access to both indoor and outdoor areas. Indoors, dogs enjoy play-style specific spaces. Our indoor facility offers individual sleeping areas to ensure that every dog feels safe and relaxed while having fun. Outdoors, dogs are provided with multiple play areas, if your pup is good with others we offer a 5000 sq. ft fully fenced play area. On our 6 acres, our large fenced area is the perfect place to play ball or relax in the shade. At play or at rest, your dog will be comfortable in our wholesome surroundings.
Our Story
Sapphire Canine has been in business for 5 years, and Kayla has been training and boarding for the last 10 years. She started her education at Montana State University getting her bachelor’s degree in animal science. After she graduated, she started working and volunteering as a vet tech, canine massage therapist, and dog trainer. She was further trained and was educated in Kentucky, where her focus was canine protection work. From there her desire was to continue helping dogs with extreme behavioral issues. She has since made it back to her roots in Minnesota where she is continuing her dream. If your fur baby is already the dog of your dreams, and you just need a boarding stay, Kayla’s facility is the perfect place for a dog vacation. Saphire Canine is a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all dogs.
